Any help with the following problem would be greatly appreciated

I have a dell laptop with an external burner hooked up tp it. I am using the latest verions of clone dvd and anydvd. When i start the burn process everything is fine. It reads the disk just fine but right after I stick in a blank disc to start the write process it just freezes up and the write process never happens. I can hear the burner working but the writing process never finishes. On my dell desktop everything works just great start to finish Is it the laptop, burner or clone dvd software that is the problem???

    Please help

Make sure that you have quality media to burn to. What kind are you using? Is your burner capable of utilizing that type or does it need a firmware update?

What burner and firmware version do you have. Visit the last link in my sig block and check your burner out.

Post back. Maybe even the cloneDVD log.
