I was thinking of buying the HP TX2623CA laptop for 899$ (i think its a good deal) but im not sure if it will be able to play 1080p videos properly (IE. no lagging audio/video, no chopping motion) when outputted to a TV. Can anyone tell me if the processor will be powerful enough to do this task? And will this laptop last? or breakdown after a couple months

it should be fine..1080p is just a resolution which most monitors have had for quite a while now..if your tv is 1080p the laptop needs an hdmi out because any other cable will downgrade it to 720p..and is see no reason why it wouldn't last..should be fine!
