laptop conexant noise on boot up

    Everytime i boot up my lenovo g780 it makes a rattling noise - this noise seems to come from this
    stero mix conexant smartaudio on the volume mixer if i slide it down to bottom noise goes away
    i have disabled thru msconfig at start up - and is still makes noise on boot up-i have even donloaded drivers - stil it is there
    Problem began when i hooked up tv to laptop and messed around with audio settings
    Btw even though i i disable stero mix conxant smartaudio - i can still get audio okay for watching movies/playing games/listening music etc

    did you try system restore to before you played around with the settings?

    No didn't try sys restore before
    Tried it after as a fix but sys restore not working - (BUT sys restore has never worked on 90% of pc/laptops i have had anyway :(
