anyone know how to fix the bios password on the panasonic tough book cf-19, tried taking the mother board battery leaving it for a week still nothing, heard you can remove the bios chip, but dont know where it is situated, can anyone help plz??.
Re flash the BIOS using a bootable CD and a USB stick with the BIOS executable on it. Assuming your CD is your first boot. Removing the BIOS chip is going to make the unit non functional.
If the password is store on an eeprom. The battery trick won't work. You will need to contact Panasonic and get a master password for your model. The BIOS maker would also have this info.
If they do charge a lot. You can look around the net for free BIOS passwords or a unlocking service will cost about $40.
