Hi All I have just joined up but have browsed the forum many times finding useful info so I thank you all for that. I have an issue I'm hoping some of you can help with. I have a Dell R15 laptop with a 15.6" LED screen (Model: CLAA156WB11A) that is broken. I also have a 15.6" LCD screen that is working fine (Model: LTN156AT01-D). I want to install the LCD (not bothered about the definition difference for what it will be used for) in place of the broken LED. So far I have soldered an LCD plug onto the LED monitor cable and have the video but of course without a backlight. From possibly the remaing outputs of the LED monitor cable (or other solution) can anyone help assist in connecting a laptop inverter to backlight the screen correctly? I have included some pictures to show the work so far. Thanks in advance for any help. Just if anyone is interested, I got it going and all is good. The picture is not too brilliant but I think I need a better inverter. Oh well that only took 9 hours! Here is an updated pic of the pinout. http://img6.imageshack.us/i/pinoutnew.jpg/
