Ok, I have a Sony VIO VGN-TZ340 and I am running Windows Vista Premium Home Edition. My screen goes black, well actually its like the back light goes out because if i tilt the screen under a brigt light I can actually see the screen and everything. The only temporary solution that I have found for this, is to push the power button to manually put my laptop into sleep mode, then power back on to resume what ever I was doing at the time. This happens RANDOMLY, when I web search, when I photoshop, when I iTUNES, but the funny thing is it never does it when I watch videos that I have on my laptop, not DVD's, I dont watch DVDs on my laptop. Is there anything that anyone can suggest? I am greatful for any help that can be given. Thanks.

try updating your graphics drivers and all your driver come to think of it because vista has alot of glitchs with drivers.

EDIT: check your power settings to because they could be wrong aswell.

you will have to download each driver then install them 1 at a time. then make sure you reboot after every driver installation.

So, I know it might be annoying to you, but where do I get the drivers from? From the Sony website? From M$ website? Thank you for being patient and helping me out with this.
