laptop wirelss bandwidth vs. lan

    i travel for a living and tired of hotel life and thinking of going to travel trailer living(camper at a campground) but hate the thought of no internet service!! so cingular wireless now the new a,t and t has wireless 3g card that goes in my laptop but me being a newbie dont know how to tell what kind of download rate you can get from it....only reason i would buy it is to play my online games (battlefield 2,knights online, streaming movies from tv-links, so my question is 1)would i be able to play these games and 2)what rate does the wireless card have compared to like cable,dsl,satalite? thank you for any help....or maybe an ALTERNATIVE solution that having to buy 70 doller service every month for a laptop card, please help.......

    I have the Sprint Rev. A Aircard w/ GPS Capabilities, spending $66.00 w/out a voice plan, and I get 2 steps down from T-1 ! I run a Bandwith test thru MSN's Tech.'s and Gadget's page or many other available Related sites. And make sure if you sign up for Unlimited Data, that it is trully unlimited. I've been w/ vzw, and still am for cell service, but after I got their air car w/ "unlimited data", they cut me off after the first month because, in fine print they have a 5MG cap per month. So I went to Sprint who knows the true definition of Unlimited Data...

    thank you i appriciate the help, so i should have no probs doing anything i want with sprint card...thats what ill check on...thanks again!!
