Im using a dell inspirion laptop. The problem I'm having is that I cant put a DVD video from my computer to the DVD-R in the drive. I tried putting it in my dvd player after I thought it worked and it just loads forever. Any help?
What's the make & model of the drive? How about media you're using? Program(s) you've tried to burn the dvd?
I dont understand what you mean by make and model of the drive. All I know that this is a dell inspirion. Ive tried using real one player and that doesnt work. Then I tried using the sonic DVD burner and that doesnt work either. I dont know what to do. Do ost new laptops automatically come with dvd burner capability?
Not all laptops come with dvd burners though more and more do now. What exactly are you trying to do - are you trying to burn video to a disc? What kind of video is it like downloaded from the internet, ripped from an original dvd etc. You're trying to play the video w/ Real Player? Look here for the make and model of the drive. Double click on my computer. Right click on local disc pick properties then hardware. It will list the hard drive then under that the make & model of the drive. Post that back.
