I have a gateway laptop. Used to read sandisk cards. Now it will read all cards except sandisk. I've tried kingston and other cards which have worked. I've also tried multiple sandisk cards which none have worked. I checked under device manager and all my drivers are installed and everything is "working properly". Any ideas. Thanks.
Plug the card back in then go to device manager and un-install the driver for that card. Make a full restart of your laptop, and let windows build another driver. (found new hardware etc etc) Howd you go?
I figured it out. I installed a new driver a few months ago that was supposed to be more up to date. I rolled back to my previous driver and everything started working again. Thanks.
