Larger Harddrive on the xbox

    I got a xbox with a 10 gig evox harddrivefrom a friend a few months back

    now due to my network stetting i cant use my crossover cable to copy and install a larger harddrive

    however my friend is able to on his xbox if he makes the drive with his xbox and evo-x can i swap it with my drive in my xbox with any problems?

    any thoughts?
    (i was asking because i came across a web page that sold larger harddrives with evo-x )

    what do you do for a softmodded xbox....how would you install a bigger hard drive. I have a softmodded xbox with a 250gb hard drive. So you are saying if I were to make duplicates of my hard drive, I couldn't just put them in a friends box and have them work....would they need a chip for it to work?
