There are more than 10 good and popular antivirus solutions on the market: Avira, Kaspersky, McAfee, AVG, MSE ect.
Avast I fell out with a couple of years back for being too fussy and taking way too many system resources.. AVG didn't do a great job (trying to make people pay for the "full" version no doubt) BUT.. I came across one called Rising .. which seems to be pretty damn good for free. Give it a shot.. my experiences with it have been.. Install, update, and leave a happy customer and get no callbacks.. which is good news in my "community provider" system.
