led's???

i got some 3mm led's now how do i find out what resistors i need for them in a series on like 8 or 4 or just for one. like in my controller dongle or under the jewel ect...?

 

just look up led resistor calculators

see im an idiot and i dont know the voltage or current...? how do i figure that out?

 

didn't it say when you bought them? Or are you talking about the source?

 

ght some leds on ebay that were like 13000 mcd and 10000 mcd hoping they would be wicked bright. thats all the info i have. i want to put them in my controller dongle and some in my case under the jewel. so thats all i know.

 

most 3mm leds I've gotten were about 3.3v each. You might want to look into that though...but for the most part I think the popular voltage for 3mm is 3.3

 

whats the supply voltage and the milliamp values
