Legecy capture device does not capture video

    I have legecy capture device in my computer. Whenever I use windows
    movie maker to capture videos from analog camera I get a message
    says "A video capture device was not detected"

    Anyone can give me a advice how to overcome this.

    What is the capture device? Also in device manager does your capture card show up under Sound, video and game controllers?

    In device manager under the sound,video and game controllers it states legecy capture devices. It is the only one.
