Ok I hate the narrow anophormatic wide screen and usualy convert them to uncompressed avis with virtualdub mod then convert them back too dvd elementery streams cropping the sides and black bars on the top and bottom out in the process this process works but takes along time and uses a lot of hdd space I know I can reduce the hdd space by using huffyuv but this slows the conversion down further
Thought I'd be smart downloaded womble has the cropping abilty that I need without having to convert to avi but after 1.5hrs of encoding it had done a masive 7 mins of film gave up on that idea
is there a quick way of doing this ?
I know someone is going to suggest just use zoom on my dvd, but that resets at the start of each chapter and I want to keep chapters and the pan and scan on my dvd is pretty much useless
So anyone got any suggestions ?
