I have to buy a new dvdrw and I´ve seen in many of your posts tha benQ is the best in this arena, but how about LG, are they "high quality drives"?
    Thanks a lot.

My LG drive died 13 months after purchase, just after warranty up.
NEC, BenQ, Plextor, Pioneer would be of higher quality as evidenced by lack of complaints on these boards. Check features and prices of these brands if you are looking for "high quality". Would also rate Liteon above LG.

LG evidently stands for Lucky Goldstar. Lucky being the key word as in your "Lucky" if the thing isn't a total piece of crap.

haha yea, from experience anyone who reads this, don't buy a LG anything, because they suck and I will probably go out and buy a BenQ or Pioneer dvd-writer quite soon since my lg one is totally messed.
