is there any way besides bluetooth or using the USB cable to transfer music files onto my phone? My laptop doesnt offer bluetooth support but if I got the USB bluetooth dongle would that work?
yes it would work. you could also use a memory card reader (if your phone takes a memory card) that might be cheaper depending on what one and how many memory cards it is compatible with, but there usually not.
