I have been using the LG DVD GSA-writer 4167B for the last couple of weeks.

I have come across a problem with CD’s, which appears not related to burning speed or media manufacturer (I have tried both different burning speeds and media). The problem is when I put CD’s into a “normal” music CD player it can sometimes take considerable time before it will start to play (60% of attempts). On occasions the CD player will even report an “error” and stop the initialisation. This is on 3 players I’ve tried but note that CD’s starts fine on PC drives and also DVD players.

Once started, the CD will play fine without any further problems.

I have tried burning using my old burner (Optorite 405), and this does not cause the problem above.

I have also tried DL11 and DL12 firmware, but this makes no difference.

DVD burning performance is first class!

Can anyone provide any suggestions to resolve this?

For information I have now got this resolved.

In Nero you must select "Disc at Once/96" .
