   I know the 4081 is 8x +r and 4x -r
   
   and the 4082 is 8x for both, but is this a matter of updated firmware on the 82 or a whole new hardware setup.
   
   If it is just a firmware thing, is there any place that has hacked 4081B firmware, much like the Pioneer a07
