this is just a lil problem im havin... no big deal...but i was wonderin if anyones vcd's or svcd's got to a point on the movie and the all the sudden speed up then slowed down and the returned to normal...while it dosent bother me most of the times...it might happen at a good fight scene or something and ruin the flow. so if anyone can help me with it i would be happy

This is Caused From Bitrate Spikes in the Video Stream...What happens is the Bitrate will suddenly spike and your DVD Player can not Spin the Disk fast enough to read the Video data in real time so the Video seems to slow down and then when the DVD Player has a Chance to catch up the Video speeds up to the Normal speed..This will Happen usually in Visually complex Scenes were the encoder will use a Higher Bitrate and in Some cases especially with Tmpgenc the Bitrate will Spike Much Higher than what you set it to, Up to 300% higher in some cases...The only way to avoid this Problem is to use a CBR encodeing Mode when encodeing your Mpeg files, And/Or useing a Lower Bitrate Or Not to use Tmpgenc to encode your Files, or get a DVD Player that Can handle Higher Bitrates....Well I hope this explains it for you as this problem is very common and a problem I have had One many Many Occations untill I switched Encoders and then the Problem was gone for the Most Part...Cheers

This is a Problem Inherant with Tmpgenc so even if you lowered the Bitrate it still might not help..I would suggest switching encoders, Useing the MainConcept Encoder Would Probably solve the Problem ....Cheers

I have never used VCDEasy to add Menu"s but I have used programs Like "Ulead DVD movie Factory and DVD workshop to Add a title menu and it works Fine but the Title will stay there untill you Press Play...
