I am using limewire to download movies and Roxio easy creator 9 to try and burn them. The movies download fine but when I go to roxio they all come up with a big red circle with a line through it,no matter how many different versions of the same movie I try.Is Roxio junk or am I doing something wrong?Roxio came with my computer,a Dell Dimension E520.Any help would be great.

Don't know anything about Roxio but do your files need extracting first and do you have the proper codecs installed to play them on your pc? Here's a guide on extracting them: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/248020 and opening them in GSpot will show what codecs you need: http://www.download3k.com/Install-GSpot.html Just open your file in it, the Kazza Lite (Full) codec pack should contan all you need and contains GSpot. Here is an encoder I've never used but hear good things about: http://beginwithsoftware.com/videoguides/dvd-flick-guide.html And, finally, look into torrents for your movies, Peer Guardian while downloading and FrostWire instead of LimeWire for items like songs. Not sure but may belong in the p2p forum and I wouldn't mention downloading movies unless they aren't copyrighted.

shreebuck you will need to convert your downloaded files from limewire, that more thain likley avi files, one of the best converters is convertxtodvd, also like the other poster stated if your files are ziped or rared you need to uncompress the files
