I recently got an LG tv and LG soundbar, I have an old 5.1 Sony DVD player I got rid of the speakers because I'd like the sound to come through the sound bar,the tv is linked to the soundbar using an optical cable and a scart connects DVD player to tv, I can't sound when using the DVD player please help! Thanks
as a 5-1 has its own amp and the sound goes through its own speakers it may not be compatible to send sound down the scart,any red/white phono out on dvd player and on tv or sound bar input in. i to have 2 panasonic 5.1 both redundant on new stuff.
