LINUX downloads

    i have just got a Eeepc900a i can not open the downloads could someone please help.am a bit new to this

    What downloads would those be? FF (browser) download location or somewhere else? Are they OS/apps updates?.. I don't know what you are on about TBH.
    What you do with downloaded files depends entirely on what types of files they are ;)

    sorry for the delay been on holiday.when i have downloaded say limewire and then click on open nothing happens

    linux isn't windows... you can't download exe applications like limewire (and who in their right mind wants that anyway).. they don't work .. hahaha
