lite-on all write lvw5006

    I would like to know it the lite-on lvw 5006 radio shack has on sale is better than the one's before it by lite-on?
    I bought a cyber home and had nothing but trouble.
    I understand the Ilo 04 by Wal-Mart is made by lite-on.
    It is only $99.00 and the lite-on a radil shack is $199.00 with a $50.00 radio shack rebate making it $149.00
    What would be the best way to go?

     ... I don't know about the LiteOn LVW-5006, but I liked my LiteOn LVW-5005 so much that I bought another. It is available at this link for under $130 ...

     ... And yes, the ilo is a LiteOn produced machine (I don't think that it is an 'All-Write' recorder) ...

    hacked 5005s are ebayed for $140. Just got mine and its working okay so far...the burners are notorious for dying after a few months though.

     ... I bought one almost a year ago (Sept 05) and it still works great after approximently 750 burns ... I can only hope that my new one holds up so well ...
