0I heard good things about Lite-on in this forum and searched the web and found the: Lite-On® Double-Layer External DVD+/- RW Drive (SOHW-1673SX) And it was getting good reviews; on one website, it got 4.7 out 5. What do you gals/guys think? And, is there a better and maybe less expensive burner becuz the one mentioned totals for $100+ Thanks in advance for any feedback.
I have one of these. Worked a treat until today when both my drives stopped reading CD/DVDs. don't think it is the ROMs but not sure what the problem is. I wouldn't let that stop you buying one however.
Try tiger direct.com, I have one but internal dvd burner dual layer, bought it for 40 dollars. It works great, fast too!
