I need help. I have Windows XP, and recently had to reinstall the OS. Everything is fine, but the DVD RW drive, lite-on dvdrw shm-165h6s hp16, does not recognize writable DVD's. Every time I try to install a blank DVD, Windows prompts me to burn a CD. I have cleaned the registry ({4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}), and have updated the firmware of the drive, but nothing works. My computer is a Compaq Presario 2032x. I am at a total loss, and do not know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
