I have new comp I just built, ASUS M2N-E mobo, AMD X2 6000+ CPU, and two liteon dvdrw drives. I noticed right after loading xp that my drives appeared as dvd-ram drives and not dvd rw drives. They play dvd and cd's fine, but when I put in a blank dvd+r or -r they recognize them as blank cd's. I have updated firmware, tried reinstalling xp, deleting all burning software, deleting lowerfilter key (no upperfilter present) . I even tried using an external dvdrw which I know works and it recognized it the same way as the aforementioned drives. Any suggestions.
