liteon elite flash with jf 1.51 or1.6 help

hi ppl im trying to flash an xbox 360 elite (brand new) ive set every thing up correctly, im using a maximus chipset with spear and ive jf 1.15 and 1.6 installed on my comp ive the tray half open the usb lead connected and on comp port 3 but in vender mode it says drive not detected and when i try an get key with spear it says same thing drive not detected . ive done load of boxes before and this problem is only recent ne thoughts gd ppl thanks
