I loaded the movie file in nero, and yes that file had already gone through TMPGEnc. I read the guide, and it said "After adding the files, your track list should look similar to the picture on the right."

First of all what are the files, after I put my .avi through TMPGEnc, there was only one final file. Are there supposed to be more files? and if so where are they. I read the guide step by step and had no problems, until now. It also said it should look like this, (with tracks), but mine did not look like that, it did not have tat type of layout with those tracks.

Can anyone help? help is greatly appreciated

Are you sure you're using the CD option in Nero to create a VCD? Use Nero Express as it's easier then drag and drop the file. I assume you are using Nero latest (5.5.10.42) or the new version 6?

Use the wizard in Nero and select CD then follow it to video CD, then drag and drop the files and burn. Alternatively in 'new compilation' without the wizard select CD at the top and then Video CD below.
