Hi all, I tried to find a solution without success, I formated a Fujitsu 40gb hdd using Evox 3935 auto-install, installed Evox Dashboard, installed MS Dashboard and then locked the Hdd, at the first reboot the Xbox light starts to FRAG(Blink red/green light) and it won't boot from the Evox auto-install CD-RW again, I tried to reset the password but it says that the device is not ready, I did all that was at my reach, I'm not a computer noob so please discard IDE, SLAVE/MASTER and setups problem, what can I do to boot the CDRW or DVDRW with an Auto-installer, or what can I do to format this darn HDD? I already tried Xbox-Scene tutorials without success(DEVICE IS NOT READY), well, help please. Thanks in advanced, Fábio Correia
the error 8 meeans that the hdd wasnt found. put it on cable select. check the connections. if siply that doesnt fix the problem, reply ack and ill try to help.
