I reinstalled Nero 8 after a virus a while bak and got a weird message about third party ppatents needing activation. It fails and asks me to send email if any questions, so I send an email with to response now for a couple of months, but Nero was still working. Today I decide to burn an AVI to DVD and the patent message comes up again, but this time I don't have access to Nero's Vision to burn the DVD. I sent another email and don't expect another reply as they didn't bother with the first one. What else can I do to get this activated? Is this a ploy to get me to buy Nero 9 by de-activating my Nero 8? Here is my nero log file. Thanks for your response, but surprisingly Nero replied to my message both Saturday and Sunday and they re-activated my account and all seems well. At least burning ROM and vision both are working which are the only two I've ever used. Thanks again -=Mark=-
