Hey, I wanted to hear yall's imput on the best folder lockers. I've used I think 2 in the past and they both failed miserably. The most recent one I tried was "Folder Access". I put a test folder in it for about a month, and now i checked it and I tried to unlock it and it keeps saying "folder lost and not found on disk" or something. My first experience was with some other locker, but i forget the name of it. But in this first one i put a lot of videos in it and i ended up losing them all. I've gotten over it, but in the future when i lock folders I want to sleep knowing that my folders and files won't get lost if i try to lock them from other people getting onto my laptop. So please tell me what you all do or what folder lockers are good, thanks.

I think I used one just called "folder lock". From what I remember, it worked well, it just was too much putting in a password everytime I wanted in the folder. I found it on download.com

**If you use that one, REMEMBER your PASSWORD, because you can't uninstall it without it.

Welcome to AD. I used Universal Shield from http://www.everstrike.com/ in the past and it worked well. I didn't lose any files with it but I was only used it for about 1-2 months. You could have a look at the free trial.

I agree with Jamzbond, Universal Shield is by far the best, give it a shot.-- I personally just exncrypt my folders/ files. As nobody goes on my computer or anything.
