i used config magic to get hd password. unlocks &locks orig. xbox hd locks larger hd but but when i put it back in xbox and power up i keep getting error 6 and a bunch of jappanise writting. i am using xboxhdm,my xbox is softmodded with aid&mechassault PLEASE HELP AM GOING CRAZY
i had that problem this mornin. YOu need a chipped xbox and a unchipped xbox right? then you ftp the unchipped xbox eeprom to the chipped xbox (config magic folder) use config magic to load the eeprom from BIn file -then write eeprom to xbox -then put the new HDD in the chipped xbox and lock the Hard drive. then put the new HDD in the unchipped xbox now the 06 error will go away and you can boot normally if you boot to the M$ dash and then resoftmod the xbox. (------06 error means the Hard drive is locked to another xbox(eeprom)
