i've bin looking through my computer trying to figure out if my burner can booktype an this is what i got from using the nero toolkit-cd/dvdspeed-extra-bitsetting. an this is what i got tell me if every ting is set rigt for booktyping or my burner just cannot do it.
    disc type booktype new settings
    dvd+r dvd-rom dvd+r
    dvd+rw dvd-rom dvd+rw
    dvd+r dl dvd-rom dvd+r dl

thats the setting what i get when i go into it does this mean that my burner is capable of booktyping or not.

Yes it would appear that all +R type media can be booktyped to DVD-ROM.

Have you checked your burned media to see if it is indeed booktyped to DVD-ROM by Nero? It will also say so if you look at the NeroHistory log.

    It looks like it does.
To verify, burn a DVD+R and check the disk.

It should be the same as this example where it shows the burned disk book type as DVD-ROM.
If I replace the disk with a blank, both fields say DVD+R.

If you go into Nero Burning ROM and select 'Recorder' 'Choose Recorder' and 'Options', it should reflect the setting.
