sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but i'am looking for a program that will convert an original dvd to a lower birate dvd compliant mpeg with these specs mpeg1 352 240 29 framerate audio 128 birate 4800hz i think this is called a kdvd or xdvd or something like that basically a variant on the standard dvd formats ive burnt lots of stuff with these specs by converting avi divx xvid etc..to the above specs and they play fine but i cant find any program that will convert vobs or files from an orginal dvd straight to the specs ive listed above basically i want to make a dvd with over 12 hours on it hence the mpeg1 rather then mpeg2 if theres no program that can do this i guess i would have to convert the dvd to a good quality divx or xvid then reencode this back to a dvd compliant mpeg so if theres no program to convert dvds to lower birate dvds then what are the best programs to convert dvds to divx or xvid if i'm confusing anyone let me know and i'll try to make myself more clear
