    Hi guys.

I'm not sure I'm in the right place, I need advice in buying a laptop. Please move me to the right place if I'm not there.

I'm looking for a laptop I can use for pretty much a full day of lectures w/o needing to charge it. This means somewhere around 5-7 hours, this isn't an absolute demand, but battery time is very important, so as much as possible is what I'm after.

I'll use the computer for text editing (coding) and word processing (I'm thinking MS Office '07 or Word 2003 through Wine @ Linux), so the CPU doesn't have to be killer, neither do the graphics. I'd like a good amount of RAM, but I can always fix that myself.

To summarize.. Which laptop is light weight and has a good battery life? Price is important here as well. Any suggestions are welcome! :)

That HP seems like an option. I've also found a "local" laptop manufacturer called Zepto.. They make this computer.. http://www.zepto.com/Shop/Notebook.aspx?notebookid=990

The price is 1/3 of the HP one, which is nice. I wonder though.. Does the core 2 duo CPU use much more energy than the Celeron M? Also.. Does anyone have any experience w/ Zepto computers? Zepto is danish, so I guess Europeans or Scandinavians are the most likely customers.
