Hey guys! At the company I work for some idiot bought 6 LCD tv's to hook on top of each line to give information for the machinists and make things easier and digital. Well after buying the TV's he didn't know what to do and what hardware was needed. I got as far as determening what else we need to hook each of the 6 tvs to one pc. So now we know what we exactly need when it comes to the hardware but we need a software that is going to allow us to control what is displayed on each LCD through one pc. So is there anyone out there who can give me a good software name? Thanks in advance and your help will mean so much to me!
UltraVNC will allow you to view (and control) computers remotely. if correcly configured it will show you all the screens attached to a computer as one big screen (that can be zoomed out to fit on one screen of the viewer)... any help?
Hey thanks for the reply and honestly I didn't think anyone would since there's a whole buncha new threads. Well all the hardware except the pc came in and the cables are hooked up. I will try the program and if it is like you said, where you can have all monitors displayed on one than this thing will be wonderful. I just hope the "correctly configuring" part doesn't get too complicated I'll keep you posted once everything is set. Thanks a lot!!
We have solved the problem. In the beginning it was hard to get the catalyst control for our fire MV s and the installations started since we were sent one professional and one home use ATI video cards. but after we got them installed all i had to do was download and install HYDRAVISION for free and everything works perfect now. I can control what is displayed on which monitor all from the taskbar of my main monitor.
