Extreme newbie here at the very end of my string. Like most, I've had no difficulty downloading desired .avi files, little to no difficulty converting these to the assortment of .bup, .ifo and .vob files, but copying these to a blank CD-R is virtually impossible for me right now :eek:P
I thought it may just be me, so I have downloaded a plethora of burner programs but all to no avail. It came to a point where I needed my little cousin's affirmation that I had a burner...
What the issue is, is that every time I stick in a blank CD-R greater than 700MB, my computer refuses to acknowledge it. I've made audio CD's with MP3 and WMA files with no problems, but that was on 700MB disks. Now I'm graduating to larger disks (these ones are 4GB) I get error messages from my computer when I try to write to disk saying that there's no disk loaded. I've tried a number of the larger disks, and none of them have worked.
Is there a simple solution for this? Any solution or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Is your burner a CD Burner or DVD burner?

To burn vob files you need a DVD burner - a CD burner will not do these or recognise DVD disks.
