    first i had a C drive of 80 gb
    d drive of 120 gb
    a cd burner
    and a dvd rom drive

got a dvd burner today and took out the dvd rom drive.........same jumper settings so no problem there

    now i restart

    i get a C drive of 80 gb
the DVD burner is now my D drive
and still have my cd burner

my 120 gb hd is missing

looked in bios and its reading it as my primary master
    so i dunno........anyone with knowledge??

heres what it was prior to me installing my dvd burner
cd burner was set on slave
dvd rom was set on master
D 120 gb drive(the one that is missing) not sure what it was set on but
::::: were the settings and it was the 4th one if u read like i typed it
C drive was a lil weird as it was sidways at the bottom on my jumpers

Check to see if you accidentally loosened the power plug or the ribbon cable on the hard drive.
