LOTR - Return of the King won't play

    i use dvd2xbox.48 copied to the hard drive,
    can't play after the help deep battle, said dics dirty or files corupted, then i used craxton patched it, still same message, then burn to dvd, with craxton, same message, burn with xiso, won't even load, then i download dvd2box.53 ripped again with the burn dvd above, still same message.
    my system is evox 3935, xcuter 4980, 120 gigs.
    can anyone help me?

    I do not have a problem with this game; perhaps it’s your original disk that has a problem. I am using the evoxM7 bios but I don’t think that should make much of a difference. If you used dvd2xbox the xbe’s are already fixed. Try another disk, if you own the original game then you could rent the same game and try to back up that one. Does the original game play ok? How about playing it from the hard drive, does it work then? If you said yes to either of those questions, try using craxtion with the GDFImage.exe option. If that does not work throw your hands up in the air and give up (just kidding). Your DVD drive might be on its last leg, how old is your xbox and how often do you play?

    first of all thanks for the reply.
    this is a brand new xbox and xcuter 2.3 lite.
    same dirty disk message playing from hard drive and dvd. i will give it a try with craxton method, i will let u know how it goes.

    Update your dvd2xbox copy to the newest version and then recopy it over and see if that helps. Older versions have bugs that are all fixed in the newer version.
