my m8 has an older pc and im looking to put xp on for him he has been using lotus for his word processing and wants to keep some important files will they open in word as they would be a diff format and is there a way to open them in word as im goin to install word for him also +
no-go! I have Lotus and it is a great application that basically lost the word processing wars to Microsoft's Word. Ironically, Lotus can read MS Word documents but Word cannot read Lotus documents. So you must either re-save all his Lotus docs as Word in the Lotus application, or you must install the application (Lotus) in the new comp.
