LVW-5005 stack in "Hello"

    Hi,
    I have a new LVW-5005 when I turn it on, I see the Hello message but nothing more. I cannot eject the disk in the tray and no video signal comes out of the DVD. I have upgraded my firmware to overcome macrovision and made it zone free. But that doesn't seem to be the problem since it worked for two weeks after I did that. Anyone has an idea?

    i had the same problem with my lvw-5005 after checking all the leads and connections i contacted liteon as my unit was still under warranty and they replaced the unit with a lvw-5006.
    if you still have a disc in the unit the only way to retrieve it is to carefully take the case apart and retrive the disc from the back of the unit but that is only if the disc is important to you.

    I bought 2 month ago when I was in USA but I don't believe they have a representative in Israel. I was hope there is something I can do to make it work again.
