m2ts to mkv

    I converted a blu-ray disc to m2ts using Tsremux. Now I want to convert that m2ts to mkv. I was browsing around I found this software called MakeMKV, but I'm not sure if it will work.

    Can someone show me how to convert an m2ts file to mkv. Thank you very much.

    Use tsMuxeR (not tsremux), to demux to raw streams, then MKVmerge to put them back to MKV. You'll also need to use the "downconvert" HD audio option while using tsMuxeR, MKV doesn't support HD audio... other than FLAC.

    If you want to convert MTS to MKV, you just need a MTS Converter. As I know, Pavtube MTS Converter can help you easily convert MTS to MKV.
    It runs very fast.
