windows media player 9 may not support the prper codec. try playing in powerdvd or another program. my dvd movies lately when played in winmp9 have the square boxes bouncing all over the scren. thats part of the protection. that doesnt happen when i use any other program to play.

    A .m2v file is just the [bold]VIDEO[/bold] portion of a muxed file. .m2v + .mp2 =.mpg
Two types of files make up an mpeg-your video and audio. There are several diffrent scenarios, Ive only metioned a few above.

he's right. also check for a .mpa or .wav file. the audio could have been converted to those formats by whatever program you use to encode your vido.
