Im thinking about buying a M3 DS Real but am confused about the functionality available with the different bundles. I've searched and read through this forum and other forums but have not found the answer to my questions so I thought I'd just ask... I've noticed a few other people seem to be confused about this too. So, there are 3 bundles: 1) M3 DS Real Rumble Pak Bundle (with just a rumble card) 2) M3 DS Real Perfect Bundle (with rumble card and GBA Expansion card) 3) M3 DS Real Rumble RAM Pak Bundle (with a rumble/RAM card) The features available throughout these packs are: 1) Rumble 2) RAM (for using the DS web browser and whatever) 3) GBA game playing My questions are: Does either of the two cards in the 'perfect' bundle have the 'RAM' feature to enable use of the DS web browser? It seems strange that they would call the bundle 'perfect' and yet this feature be missing from the cards in it, but then again why is the 'RAM' not mentioned in the descriptions of this bundle? Can you use the DS web browser rom with the 'perfect' bundle? If there is RAM in the GBA card in the 'perfect' bundle - is it the same amount of RAM as the card in the 'rumble/RAM' bundle? Can anyone please clear this confusion up?
The GBA Expansion can be used as a RAM pak, as it uses the GBA memory it has alot more memory than the Rumble/RAM pak. You need to patch the browser for it to work with the GBA Expansion (the M3 have a the patch and patcher available on their site). I'm not sure if you need to patch it if you have the Rumble/RAM pak.
yeah ive been pretty confused too.. i bought the 'ram/rumble' pak but i can't use it because i have a launch DSphat.. slightly annoyed since it didnt actually say anywhere it wouldnt work with it.. but whatever im gonna get another ds eventually anyway. but i cant find out if you can play GBA games off the 'ram pak' ???
