M3 DS Real GBA Save Problem (Not found solution in any other threads)

It seems like I'm not the only one having problems with this, but none of the other threads seem to be covering exactly what's happening to me. I've played around with the RTSave Switch, and for some games it seems to work, but others lock up if I have it on. On any of the games that's the only way I can get the saves to actually take. If I have the rtsave switch off, the saves are listed while I'm in game as being there, but if I shut off the ds, then when I turn it back on I get "processing data" and a progress bar, but when I go back in the save files aren't there. Currently using v3.7c about to update to 3.8 but don't know if this will fix or not. What do I need to do to save my gba games?
