I'm totally new to all this, so please bear with me. I've just bought the m3 ds real and tried to follow the instructions in the guide, but something is not working for me. I've downloaded the zip file and copied the contents to a folder called SYSTEM on a new 4gb card. I've copied a game to a folder called NDS. When I boot the system, I choose english and then it shows me the gm manager screen, which has icons for boot, media, setting and myfiles but not one for games. If I choose myfiles, it shows me both system and nds. Choosing nds it shows the game I put there, but I cannot get it to load. What am I doing wrong, or not doing/done ? Please help a foolish beginner.
what (System/Firmware...)are you useing The latest loader is 'v3.7e' what can be found here http://www.handheldsources.com/M3DS/Download_M3DSR.html
hello this is what your screen should look like with the system icons on the bottom screen . the top 4 icons and the bottom 3 icons from left to right are as follows - NDS , GBA , MyCard + Boot Media , PDA + Setting to play a nds rom tap the NDS icon and a list of your games should be there ( make sure you have unrared your games and they are in .nds format ! ) woof811.
Thanks both for the replies. System files are 3.7e and were downloaded from m3adapter.com. Have since downloaded from handheldsource and tried again. Result is now a success ! In the latter case, the system folder has a series of files called minigame. followed by different languages, which are not in the other system folder. So much for trusting the supplier.
