M3 DS Real not booting up games

I just bought my second M3 DS Real. I used my original sd micro card from my first M3 DS Real and it didn't work. I even downloaded the latest System software, US Version 3.5. The DS Lite reads the different games installed in the sd card. I can select a game but when I hit start to boot the game, both screens go blank (turns white)and sometimes it turns black.
I know it is not the sd micro card because it works fine with my first M3 DS Real. Any suggestions on what else I can do to make it work?
