Hi, my friend warned me that playing games off flashcarts can't connect properly and therefore you can't play multiplayer as the WIFI doesn't work. I was wondering if this is true and are there any M3DSS users out there who can play multiplayer fine with no problems?
Nintendo WFC (Wifi) works fine with no problems for me. The only thing that didn't work was the multiplayer mode called "Download Play" where only you have the game and you try to send parts of the game to other DS's to play multiplayer, this has been been fixed for most if not all games in the most recent M3 firmware.
Ok, thanks for the help Although another question has just sprang to mind, if I have a trimmed game, would I still be able to connect with a friends normal game? Such as Pokemon for instance?
There should be no reason for it to not work. I do think that at the moment when using the M3 you cannot connect the Pokemon game on the DS to the Wii Pokemon game, but as I don't have a Wii i'm not sure.
