hey i tried playing mario cart ds and i tried having someone do download and play off of me but then it won't work we get a connection error? can someone help?
Since RSA certification is disabled while using back-up devices, the only way a DS can receive games during download play is if the receiving DS has FlashMe installed. However, I will say that I have come across a few games that don't require RSA encryption for download play, so this isn't always the case.
I do own the game. And also have a back-up. I play my girlfriend who also has a NDS. I use the back-up and she uses my original copy. And it worked perfectly. The download play is lame. You can't chose characters and have limited tracks. Would two back-up copies play against each other ? Even if it was the same copy ?
