I went ahead and formatted my mini sd card and now I am in need of the software. Not a firmware upgrade, the software that comes off the original CD to get the m3 to actually boot into the main menu.

All the thread searching I do just directs me to the upgrade files. I need the actual system files and folders since I have misplaced my original CD. Anyone know where I can download this?

    Thanks.

I checked out this link: http://www.handheldsources.com/Download_M3.html

This is for the slot 2 device. Maybe Im tired or blind but I only see upgrades. I dont see any links for the M3 Lite that include the original system software.

The "upgrades" are the whole system software, just with any additional patches/features that have been added.

So do I just format the SD card, drag the file onto it and start up the M3 lite?

    iirc yes (been a while since i used a slot-2 m3)

The M3 should see the file and ask you to install it, once installed everything should work.
